Over this last week, we have been working hard to create a plan that will allow us to provide our arts education programs to our students. An important aspect of creating our plan has been finding a way to serve the many families who are suffering financially right now due to the pandemic.

Beginning Monday, March 30, we will be offering much of our private instruction and group classes through online sessions to all of our students regardless of their ability to pay. We know that everyone is struggling to retain some continuity in their lives, and our hope is that art, music and dance can help to calm fears and engage minds.

This plan has a second purpose as well. As many of you know, our instructors are independent contractors, many of whom juggle teaching schedules at several organizations and at home studios in order to make a living. Our intention is to continue payments to our instructors for as long as possible.

Two of our committed community partners Dworken and Bernstein Co., LPA and Lighthouse Advisers have worked with us to create a matching campaign, SHARE THE ARTS, to underwrite this effort.  We know that this is a challenging time for everyone and that many will not have the ability to contribute to such an effort. But if you feel you are able, we ask that you consider making a financial gift to this special fund.

Help us to SHARE THE ARTS with our community. You have our guarantee that any funds received will be used exclusively for instructor payments and the most basic of operating costs, allowing our arts instruction to continue through the end of our spring session.

Our hope is to be able to offer our summer youth programs and Rabbit Run Theater productions as planned.  While there is no guarantee what the coming months will bring, our promise to you is that we will continue to find creative ways to keep our students and patrons engaged and entertained.

Please consider donating to SHARE THE ARTS knowing you are helping our students continue their studies and fulfill their dreams.
