Dworken & Bernstein weave the fabric of our community

By day Richard Selby (Ric) is a jury trial lawyer and a partner at Dworken & Bernstein Co., LPA in Painesville.  Outside of work Ric is an avid supporter of the arts.

“As both of my parents were teachers, the educational aspect of Rabbit Run attracted me.  When schools are faced with budgetary issues, one of the first programs to be cut is the arts.  Rabbit Run fills in those gaps with its programming, and that’s what drew me to the organization.”

“We have big plans for the future.  We are finishing up a long-term facilities plan, but once we have the plan, it will take funds to implement them.  Rabbit Run is the definition of a grassroots organization, and as such, we don’t have a big benefactor.  So our challenge will be raising the necessary funding.”

“It is so important for a community to be well-rounded.  There is more to life than work, and what makes a community a good place to live is all the other things that make life enjoyable.  Rabbit Run touches both children and adults, and it makes Madison and Lake County a well-rounded place to live.”
