Private Music Instruction:

RRCAA provides a full range of private instruction, beginner through advanced levels, offered for both youth and adults. Days and times vary with the individual instructor.

Note: Fees for music instruction are due monthly by the first class of each month. Rates vary per instructor.

Group Piano For Beginners (Ages 8–13)

An introduction class for new students with no experience to learn to read and play music. This one-time class suggests follow-up private lessons to further your study.
Mondays 7:00 – 7:45pm 8 week sessions

Children’s Chorus “Madison Matinee” (Ages 8-12)

Focuses on unison and two-part singing, and basic breathing and vocal techniques. Some special clothing required. No refunds or credits for missed classes. The Madison Chorale sponsors the Children's Choir

Jan. 8 - May 2, New students accepted until Feb. 26
Fee - $12 month (family rate $18)

Youth Chorale “Untitled” (Ages 13 - 18, or Grades 7 - 12)

Focuses on 3-4 part and accapella singing, and sight reading. Prior experience is very helpful, but not required. Some special clothing required. No refunds or credits for missed classes.

Group recorder lessons (Beginners or limited experience ages 7 and up)

Learn to read notes in the G clef, including rhythm and musical performance symbols. A great pre-band instrument.

Kindermusik

A child’s joyful exploration of music and movement, Kindermusik is based on research showing that music helps build a child’s self-confidence, enhances complex reasoning and focuses listening skills.
Materials MUST be paid before classes begin.

Our Time (Ages 18 mo. - 3 yrs.)

45-minute class with caregiver “Away We Go!” guides parent and child to explore the exciting world of things that go! Singing, dancing, and developmentally appropriate activities lead this transportation adventure to the discovery of trains, cars, buses, horses, wagons, airplanes and boats.

Imagine That (Ages 3 - 4 yrs.)

45-minute class with caregiver participating last 15 minutes
“Toys I Make, Trips I Take” leads the child on a magical journey into a remarkable Toy Shop filled with boats, trains, balls, jack-in-the-box and many other toys that bring a glimmer into a child’s eyes. While the excitement may begin in the toy shop, it may end on a tropical island. Imagine That!

Young Child "Semester One" (Ages 5 - 7 yrs.)

A 60-minute class with caregiver participating last 15 minutes. Broadens the child’s musical experience through the introduction of the glockenspiel. Learning how to keep a steady beat plus reading and writing musical notations will help a child lay initial groundwork for musical success!
