The romantic comedy Almost, Maine is the second show in Rabbit Run Theater and Lake Erie College's 2016-17 Studio Series: Extraordinary Circumstances.
Written by John Cariani, Almost, Maine opens Friday, Nov. 11, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 20.
On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, things are not quite what they seem in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.
All performances are at the C. K. Rickel Theatre in Royce Hall for the Performing Arts on the Lake Erie Campus, off of Gilett St. in Painesville, OH.
